TRES OTC DMCC is a company registered in the United Arab Emirates, which received the first license issued to carry out legal activities when conducting transactions with cryptocurrencies in the UAE.[1] The company considers both legal entities and individuals who prefer the reliability and security of transactions involving cryptocurrency as its clients.
History
TRES OTC DMCC was established in 2021.
On 26 May 2021, the company was given a crypto assets trading license for making over-the-counter transactions with cryptocurrencies by Executive Chairman and CEO of DMCC Ahmed Bin Sulayem[2].[citation needed] It is the first crypto assets trading license issued in the country in order to develop the crypto industry in the United Arab Emirates.[3] Up to this point, cryptocurrency trading was not regulated, mandated, or recognised any ICO in the UAE officially[4].[citation needed]
