Wouldn't It Be Nice is an upcoming romantic comedy film written by Emma Fletcher and produced by Andrew Gunn. Produced by Walt Disney Pictures, the film will be released on Disney+.

In 2009, Walt Disney Pictures started developing a body-swapping romantic comedy film.[1] Through the years, Gabe Sachs, Jeff Judah, Barry Blaustein, and Jason Hefter wrote several drafts for the project's script, througth none of them were approved.[1] By 2020, Shiri Appleby approached the studio througth Zoom Video Communications and pitched her idea for the project.[1]
On March 27, 2020, the project was announced with the title Wouldn't It Be Nice, and it was reported that it will be released on Disney's streaming platform, Disney+.[1] Appleby is in talks to direct the film, with Andrew Gunn serving as producer, while Emma Fletcher was reported to have written a new draft for the film's script.[1] The project reportedly hasn't been greenlit by Disney yet, with the film still being in early stages of development.[1]
