Wrestling Revolution is a professional wrestling role playing video game that was released for iOS and Android. It was created by independent game designer and author Mat Dickie in 2012. The game developed commercial success two months after its release with over 100,000 downloads. It later surpassed 10 million downloads. A sequel to the game titled Wrestling Revolution 3D was released in 2017.

Gameplay[edit]

The mobile game features a variety characters to choose from. Users have access to creative control allowing them to style or customize wrestling characters in variety of options, including hair, face, body, and lower body.

Players start by choosing a preferred characters. The game allows players to start their own professional wrestling career starting in "Wrestling school" where wrestler train fighting, getting to know opponents, personal information and different schemes before getting scouted by major wrestling companies. Once scouted, wrestlers will be able to earn salaries, having Creative control over their career, getting health insurance, gaining fans and winning championships and defending long-reigning streaks.
