The software xSuite Invoice Cube is used for automated processing of incoming invoices in SAP ERP and SAP S/4HANA. The business software works from an existing SAP system and uses digital workflows for all verification, approval and completion steps to reduce invoice processing times.[1]

    Manufacturer[edit]

Invoice Cube is manufactured by the xSuite Group GmbH, which is headquartered in Ahrensburg, Germany. Founded in 1994 under the name of WMD, the company was registered under the present name of xSuite Group GmbH in the commercial register on November 21, 2019. The software products, which were branded xFlow, were simultaneously consolidated by the software manufacturer under the umbrella brand xSuite.[2] The manufacturer sees its core competence as the processing of incoming invoices within SAP, with the product xSuite Invoice Cube. [3]

    Development[edit]

xSuite Invoice Cube entered the market in 2007 under the name xFlow Invoice for SAP. The latest version is Invoice Cube 5.2.5. xSuite Invoice Cube is based on the programming languages in ABAP Objects for SAP ERP and S/4HANA. It can also be operated with components from the Cloud such as document capture, which validates, interprets and checks the plausibility of incoming invoices in the cloud environment.[4]

    Functions[edit]

xSuite Invoice Cube is mainly used as an integrated solution in combination with other programs of the xSuite Group, which include the products xSuite Capture, the xSuite Capture Scan Client, xSuite Interface and xSuite Archive. Incoming documents can be processed in paper form, by e-mail, in PDF format or in a structured XML-based format such as UBL, XRechnung or ZUGFeRD. xSuite Invoice Cube has features such as automatic document entry, with validation of the invoice within the SAP GUI. The status of an invoice can be tracked in the Invoice Overview feature, and a Management Summary provides an overall view of the performance of processes. The package supports invoices both with and without SAP purchase-order reference.[5] Users can participate via different interfaces, such as the SAP GUI, the xSuite Web interface, and SAP Fiori. This enables workflow participation on smartphones and tablets.

    Distribution[edit]

According to the manufacturer, xSuite Cube software is used by over 750 companies ranging from medium-sized businesses to corporations and public clients. The software is deployed internationally and is sold and supported from the headquarters in Germany, as well as through subsidiaries in the USA, Singapore, Spain, the Netherlands, Denmark and Slovakia.[6] A version of xSuite Invoice Cube adapted for public sector clients in the German market is offered under the name "xSuite Public Sector Cube" and is natively integrated into the SAP modules PSCD and PSM. As public administration becomes more digitalized, the xSuite workflow system for invoice processing has become widely used in the public sector in Germany. This is especially the case in the administration of large cities, including Frankfurt,[7] Düsseldorf,[8] Hamburg,[9] Mannheim,[10] Bremen[11] und Leipzig.[12]

    Certifications[edit]

It is certified with the BITMi seal of approval "Software made in Germany".[13] In addition to Invoice Cube being certified as a product, its manufacturer xSuite Group GmbH is a certified partner of SAP SE. [14] The Infocomm Media Development Authority of the Singapore government has awarded the software producer the distinction of "IMDA Pre-Approved Peppol-Ready Solution Provider" and lists xSuite on its website as a "Peppol Ready Accounting Solution Provider."[15]
