Mentor Zenula (Albanian: [mɛntˈor ˈzɛnuɫa], Macedonian: Ментор Зенула; born 16 April 2000) is a Macedonian-Albanian songwriter, producer, and entrepreneur.
Life and career[edit]
Mentor Zenula was born on 16 April 2000 into an Albanian family in the city of Skopje, then part of the Socialist Republic of Macedonia, present-day North Macedonia.[1] Zenula discovered his passion for music at an early age and started to play the piano. He started his musical career in Macedonia, where in 2019 released his first single "Balkan Hit".[2]
Zenula became famous in the summer of 2019 with the song "La La".[3] It is a cover or remix of the song of the same name by Mero, which was released in 2019, The song in the deep house style went viral primarily on TikTok, where more than 4.1 thousand user made videos were created through a challenge. The song was also successful on Spotify and YouTube.[4][5]
The next song released is "Balkan Tallava".[6] In the summer of 2019 it was listened to a million times in one month.[7]
