Xueqin Jiang (Chinese: 江学勤) is a Canadian educator, author, and content creator known for his YouTube channel @PredictiveHistory.
Since 2022, Jiang has taught Western philosophy, world history, and geopolitics at Moonshot Academy, a private non-profit preparatory school located in the Chaoyang District of Beijing.[1][2]
Biography
Early life and education
Jiang was born in China and immigrated to Toronto, Canada with his family in 1983. He attended Yale University, graduating in 1999 with a degree in English Literature.[3]
Career
From 2008 to 2013, he served as a school assistant principal for three prestigious public middle schools in China, including the Affiliated High School of Peking University and Tsinghua University High School in the Haidian District. During this time, he attempted to reform local education toward openness and creativity.[3]
He has also served as a judge for the Global Teacher Prize.[4]
Public Commentary
Since 2023, Jiang has produced content focused on the relationships between world history, world religions, western philosophy and geopolitics through digital media platforms. [5][6]
