Yafet Dawit

Yafet Dawit (born August 26, 2002) is an Eritrean-American Track and Field athlete known for the hammer throw. On March 21, 2021, at the Lehigh Season Opener, Yafet Dawit threw a personal best of 41.11 to place eighth in the meet and break the Eritrean national record in the Hammer throw.
In High School, Yafet Dawit competed for Hanover Park High School and currently competes Collegiality for the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
