Shaykh Yahya Raaby (يحيى الرابي), is a Muslim speaker, influencer and teacher. After completing a bachelor of science in Islamic law, he currently serves as an Imam & Khateeb in west London and an instructor of the Quraan, Arabic and Islamic Sciences.[1] He has amassed over 50,500 followers on Instagram.[2]

Early life[edit]

He was born in Kolding, a Danish seaport in Southern Denmark and lived there for 5 years. However, he moved to and was raised in London, England. Sh Yahya began memorising the Qur’an at a tender age and by the Grace of Allah completed it within his teenage years. He done this whilst studying at Badr Islamic institute under qualified teachers (graduates of Islamic University of Madinah & Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University) such as Shaykh Ismail, Shaykh Mahmoud and Shaykh Ibrahim. Therein he also studied different Islamic sciences such as tafsir, hadith, usul fiqh, fiqh, grammar, seerah, history and more. Sh Yahya from a young age always had a knack for Arabic and was always involved in studying its different aspects; from listening, reading, writing and other core language skills. This allowed him to become fluent at the language before he was ever able to set foot in an Arabic-speaking country.

Career[edit]

Sh Yahya has studied Islamic Law (bachelor shariah) and serves the communities all around the UK and abroad through means of Teaching, Lecturing, Delivering Friday sermons, Leading Prayers, Counselling and more. He has travelled a lot around the globe learning and teaching.
