Yannick Helbling (born 4 January 1996) is a Swiss footballer who currently plays for FC Schaffhausen in the Swiss Challenge League.[1][2]
Career[edit]
Early Career[edit]
Helbling is a graduate of the Grasshopper Club Zürich youth academy, joining the club in 2012 at the age of 16.
Rapperswil-Jona[edit]
In July 2017, Helbling was sold to Swiss Challenge League club FC Rapperswil-Jona on a free transfer. He made his league debut for the club on 29 July 2017 in a 3-1 victory over FC Winterthur. He replaced Manuel Kubli in the 68th minute.[3] He would only make one more league appearance for the club during his time there.
Schaffhausen[edit]
Having only been with Rapperswil-Jona for six months, Helbling was sold to FC Schaffhausen. He made his league debut for Schaffhausen on 5 February 2018 in a 2-1 loss to FC Aarau.[4] His first professional league goal came on 3 March 2018 in a 2-1 victory over FC Chiasso. His goal came in the 83rd minute.[5]
