Yara Salman (born August 16, 1994) is a Bahraini entrepreneur, businesswomen and socialite known as the founder of Yara Beauty Lounge and Hospitaila By Yara.[1] [2][3][4] She Co-founded MJ's Bowling Lounge and serves as the CEO of Burgerland and La Marine Sea food restaurant.[5]
Life and career[edit]
Yara Salman attended St. Christopher's School, Bahrain and holds a bachelor's degree from University College of Bahrain, majoring in Public Relations.[2] Her father Jameel Ali Salman is a businessman, founder and chairman of JAS Group and her mother, Dr Hala Alsayed, is a dental consultant in Bahrain.[1] At the age of 17, she started assisting her father in minor decision making of the company as an assistant to Chairman. After graduation, Salman started managing her father's businesses LA Marine and Burgerland.
Yara Beauty Lounge[edit]
In 2012 Yara Salman launched Yara Beauty Lounge (YBL), a luxury beauty salon in Amwaj islands in Northern Bahrain.[6][7] It is the first and largest five-star establishment in the region.[8][9] It houses Moroccan baths, hair care, massage, waxing and facial rooms and the Cryotherapy room. Yara has first introduced the concept of Cryotherapy into Bahrain, which used to treat malignant tissue damages, weight loss and fitness.[10] [11]
Hospitalia by Yara[edit]
In 2016 Yara founded "Hospitalia by Yara", a beauty medical center which provides new technology based beauty and health services .[12] Its services include dermatology, a hyperbaric oxygen chamber, plastic surgery, aesthetics, dentistry, GP services and Cryotherapy facilities.[13] The dermatology department provides laser, Botox, fillers, microdermabrasion and other beauty techniques. The hyperbaric oxygen treatment involves breathing pure oxygen in a pressurised room or chamber.
In 2016, Yara introduced the first robotic pharmacy in the region titled "Farmacia by Yara" which currently operates as a service of Hospitalia by Yara.[14] The centre offers a VIP section with a separate entrance, a concierge service and valet, dermatology, dentistry, paediatric and general medicine.[15]
MJ's Bowling Lounge[edit]
Yara and her brother Mohammad J Salman together worked on MJ's Bowling Lounge, an integrated leisure development project which includes a bowling alley and entertainment centre along with a gourmet restaurant and separate cafe. It was inaugurated on 12 May 2016 sponsored by Rolls-Royce, American rapper and songwriter Omarion performed at the grand opening.[16][17] MJ's Bowling Lounge, located in Budaiya provides family entertainment through the bowling hall, karaoke facilities, a recording studio, big LED screens for watching world games. It also features Las Vegas themed sound and light systems, private beat booths, and a replica of F1 simulator.[18]

In 2016 Yara Salman received the Entrepreneur of the year 2016 award by Bahrain Businesswomen's Society in the event of Global Entrepreneurship Week at the Bahrain Financial Harbour.
