Yassin (Sirri) Hall (born on December 6, 1970) is an American investor, author, mental health advocate, and philanthropist.[1] She is the CEO of B.O.S.S. Class LLC & Journey Untold LLC.[2][3] 

Early life and education[edit]

Hall was born in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands as an only child.[1][4][3] She completed her schooling at Charlotte Amalie High School in 1988. She then earned a degree in computers and fashion from the National Education Center for Arts.[5][6]

She began modelling in her teens and learned to sew from her maternal grandmother, Delia Simmonds.[6][3]

She worked at her uncle’s law firm after school.[6]

Hall operates several Amazon stores and is the owner of an online clothing boutique called “Let’s Journey into Fashion.”[5][7][6]

Hall shares her expertise on Amazon through her B.O.S.S. (Built on Self-Motivation Success) Amazon and eBay Classes.[5] She also teaches methods to profit from Amazon and eBay to middle and high schoolers at Genesis Preparatory Academy. [5] As of 2021, she has taught 3800 B.O.S.S. students. [2]

She is also the founder and program manager of Milestone Mom’s Support Group. [3]

Mental Health Advocate[edit]

She is a certified CIT & Mental Health First Aider. [3] Hall teaches students with learning disabilities to cope with technologies.[5][8]

As a mental health advocate, she had been appealing to the government to do something about mental health for the people. The government catered for her requests in 2020 as Governor Albert Bryan Jr. announced reorganizing mental and behavioral health treatment under V.I. laws. [4]

Hall assisted in passing three major legislative bills. BILL No. 31-02799 – “The Department of Education shall cause all public-school counselors to be trained and certified in grief and stress counseling.” BILL No. 32-0084 and 32-0085 – “extending the time a person may be detailed involuntary for mental health treatment”; “mental health emergency commitments by extending the time a person may be detained for treatment.”[4][9]

She serves as a presenter for NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness). [9]

Philanthropy[edit]

As of 2021, she is directly working with Carol Callwood St. Thomas , St. Johnand St. Croix Federation of Teachers. She ensures that students get Chromebooks to learn virtually during COVID-19.[1][5]

She had also made donations to hurricane victims. [5]

Hall donates to the V.I. Cancer Society during Breast Cancer Awareness Month using her earnings. She also provided gowns to young women in need of assistance. [6]

Achievements[edit]

Hall’s book, Journey Untold, My Mothers Struggle with Mental Illnesses, is a part of the middle school reading curricula in Atlanta, Georgia.[4] Her books have remained the best seller on Amazon for five consecutive years.[7][9]

Her book Beyond the Love Curse: The Journey Continues has won Readers’ Favorite Silver Medal of Excellence in Writing Young Adult – Non-Fiction category at the International Book Awards Ceremony in Miami, Florida, on November 18th, 2017.[9]

Personal life[edit]

Hall is a divorcee and lives in Atlanta, Georgia, with a daughter and three sons. One of them was shot and nearly list his life. [1][5][2][4] [10] She adopted her daughter from Cambodia. Hall helped Yamisha, her youngest daughter, through her businesses through which she generated a revenue of $1 million dollars. [5][7][6]
