"Yesterday is Dead" is a single by American pop/rock musician Josiah Queen.[2][3][4] The song was released on March 14, 2025, through F&L Label Group and Capitol CMG.[5][6][7] It peaked at No. 26 on the Billboard Hot Christian Songs chart.[8]
Writing and production
The song was written and produced by John Michael Howell, Josiah Queen, and Zac Lawson.[9][10][11]
Queen stated about the song that it is about the freedom and new life he has found in Jesus.[12][13][14]
Release and promotion
Several teasers were released through social media before the song's official release date, surpassing 3 million views each. The song will be performed live on national television through Fox & Friends on April 20, 2025.[14]
On March 14, 2025, the official music video for "Yesterday is Dead" was released. The video features Queen performing the song. It was directed by Rashun.[15][12][16] On March 18, 2025, an official lyric video for the song was released.[17]
