Yine Yenki Nyika is a graduate of bachelors of science in computer science. She is a teaching assistant and the Head, Department of Computer Science at the College of Computer Science and Information Technology at the University of Juba. She is the Co-founder and Mentor-ship Director of the GOGirls- ICT[1] Initiative and currently implementing the #TTOS-ICT project in partnership with UNDP in South Sudan.[2] she motivated by the quote "what a man can do a woman can"[3]

Yine Yenki Nyika is a graduate of bachelors of science in computer science. at Makerere University in Kampala Uganda, she also went to kyeizooba girls secondary school[4]

work experience[edit]

She is a re-known feminist and a woman activist who fights for the plight of the women involvement in technology and the Co-founder and Mentor-ship Director of the GOGirls- ICT Initiative

she has led an initiative that seeks to help fight stereotypes among the youth, especially girls and women using ICT. Hence the formation of Go-Girls ICT.

Yine Has also been the brain child behind the coders of the next generation program that seeks to provide tech-related knowledge to girls in South Sudan Juba[5]

she is has participated in different conferences around the globe discussing about the status and solution to the girl child empowerment in South Sudan

Yine as an Advocate for peace and education[edit]

she has been an advocate for peace in South Sudan, and she believes "her country South Sudan is diverse, and there are many different views of peace based on different family cultures, backgrounds, rules and beliefs. From her experience, she knows the environment each child is growing in will impact their thinking, their beliefs about life, and their reasoning." hence for the Family visit programs that she enforced, that seeks to heal trauma, connect with different parents of children and use the parents as stakeholders in developing the minds of the next generation children.[6]
