Yoko Osaka (おさかようこ) is a Japanese composer and sound designer who worked for SNK, active from 1988–1994. She is known for her work composing for arcade and home console games published by SNK including Crystalis, Eight Man, and Guerrilla War.
Osaka was also a part of the SNK Sound Team (新世界楽曲雑技団, Shinsekai Gakkyoku Zatsugidan), a group consisting of the composers and musicians involved with SNK and their games during her time active with the company.
Legacy
Osaka's music was featured in a variety of different compilations released by Scitron Digital Contents over the years, including SNK Original Best and Legend of Game Music Premium Box.[1] In 2019, Yoko Osaka's music was also included in SNK Arcade Sound Digital Collection, a compilation of video game music released by City Connection.
In 2018, Osaka's music was used in trailers announcing the SNK 40th Anniversary Collection.
