Yoko Osaka (おさかようこ) is a Japanese composer and sound designer that worked for SNK, active from 1988-1994. She is known for her work composing for arcade and home console games published by SNK including Crystalis, Eight Man, and Guerrilla War.
Osaka was also a part of the SNK Sound Team (新世界楽曲雑技団, Shinsekai Gakkyoku Zatsugidan), a group consisting of the composers and musicians involved with SNK and their games,during her time active with the company.
Legacy[edit]
Osaka's music was featured in a variety of different compilations released by Scitron Digital Contents over the years, including SNK Original Best and Legend of Game Music Premium Box.[1] In 2019, Yoko Osaka's music was also included in SNK Arcade Sound Digital Collection, a compilation of video game music released by City Connection.
In 2018, Osaka's music was used in trailers announcing the SNK 40th Anniversary Collection.
