Youssef Damra, a Palestinian writer, was born in Aqabat Jabr, Area, in 1953. He is a member of the Arab Writers Union's Story and Novel Society in Syria. He was educated in Ram Allah and Zarqa and holds a Jordanian certificate in physical therapy.[1] He earned a certificate in physical therapy from the Institute of Medical Professions in Amman in 1976 and worked as a nurse in the Jordanian city of Zarqa. He worked as an editor for the Jordanian newspaper Al Arab Al Youm's "Child's Culture" page, as well as a preparer for many cultural programs for Jordanian radio and a member of the editorial board for the Jordanian Ministry of Culture's Afkar magazine in 2009.[2]
Member of the Jordanian Writers' Association, elected as a member of its governing body several sessions, and served as vice-president of the Association for four years.[3]
