Yu Lu (Chinese: 裕路) is a Chinese automobile manufacturer headquartered in Zhengzhou that specializes in producing electric vehicles.
History[edit]
Yu Lu was founded in 2017, and is based in Zhengzhou, China. It was founded by Dongfeng Yulon.[1]
Their only vehicle is the EV2 first shown in October 2017. The cooperation between Geely and Yulon to sell the Geely LC in Taiwan provided the base for the EV2. The main body of the EV2 is shared with the Geely LC with only the front and rear redesigned for the EV2.[2]
The EV2 has a 21.9 kWh battery, that gives a range of 94 miles, a voltage of 93.6 V, and an energy capacity of 233 Ah. It is a FWD vehicle. The EV2 has dimensions of 3643 mm/1669 mm/1496 mm, a wheelbase of 2340 mm, a ground clearance of 120 mm, a kerb weight of 1065 kg, maximum operating weight of 1,365 kg, and 14 inch wheels. It takes 9 hours to charge with an onboard charger, and will start at ¥49,800. The top speed of the EV2 is 63 mph.[3][4][5]
