Yumi Yano (矢野有美, Yano Yumi) (born 15 April 1966) is a Japanese former singer and actress from Takamatsu, Kagawa, Japan.[1][2][3]
Musical career[edit]
Yano rose to fame as a member of Japanese pop group 'Shower', after a successful audition organised by Shiseido. She was 15 years old when the group released it's first single, Do up・愛ING, which reached 135 on the Oricon charts in 1982.
After the group disbanded, Yano pursued a solo career, with her single, Keiken・Bishojo reaching 54 on the Oricon charts in 1985.
