Zûg is a electronic music producer, DJ and multidisciplinary artist born in Montevideo Uruguay in 1978 as Javier Zugarramurdi García. He is known in the underground electronic music scene for his unique sound handcrafted with his modular synthesizer.

After releasing records on labels like Minor Planet Music or Propersound Records he started his own record label named after his artist name Zûg.

He started his record label with a 2 part vinyl entitled "Algunos Sentimientos" which was reviewed by the biggest record shops in the world who compared him with artists like Larry Heard, Matthew Herbert, Ricardo Villalobos and the techno from Detroit.
