Zack Keller is an American writer, director, author, editor, producer, and voice actor. He is best known for co-creating Mondo Media's Dick Figures along with Ed Skudder, as well as being the voice of Blue. He was also a writer and narrative designer for many franchises such as Guardians of the Galaxy, Batman, and Tales from the Borderlands for Telltale Games. He is also known for writing the novel, The Success of Suexliegh, which won a finalist award at the International Book Awards and an honorable mention at the San Francisco Book Festival. He also co-wrote the books, Meet Me at the Falls and Death Head.
Early life[edit]
Keller started his college years at USC School of Cinematic Arts from 2003-2007 to study Cinematic Arts Production and Game and Interactive Media Design.
Career[edit]
Keller started his career as an editorial intern at Pixar Animation Studios from 2005-2007 for feature films such as Cars, Ratatouille, WALL-E, & the short film, Lifted.
After working in Pixar, Zack started working at the animation studio, Six Point Harness, to co-create Mondo Media's Dick Figures with Ed Skudder. He also voiced the characters, Blue and Jason (AKA Trollz0r). Dick Figures was doing so well that Zack and Ed created a Kickstarter to fund the feature-length film, Dick Figures: The Movie (the first feature-length animated production by Mondo Media and Six Point Harness and one of the most popular animated projects being funded through Kickstarter).
While Dick Figures was being the most viewed web series on YouTube, Keller was working on his novel, The Success of Suexliegh. Zack's novel won a finalist award at the International Book Awards and an honorable mention at the San Francisco Book Festival. He also co-wrote the other successful books, Meet Me at the Falls with animator John Dusenberry and filmmaker and actor Ben Tuller, and Death Head with Nick Keller.
After Dick Figures ended, he went to work on Telltale Games as a writer and narrative designer on many games such as, Guardians of the Galaxy, Batman, The Walking Dead, & Tales from the Borderlands. He was currently working as a lead writer on Telltale Games' Stranger Things until Telltale Games shut down. He also recently wrote some episodes for Cartoon Network's Unikitty!
After that, Keller became and is currently a narrative director at King Digital Entertainment. He also recently wrote Dark Horse Comics' Cuphead Volume 1: Comic Capers & Curios and is currently working on the sequel.
