Search Zangi (Software) on Amazon.Zangi is an encrypted, serverless communications platform for peer-to-peer communication. It works on iOS and Android and transmits text messages and files, and makes voice and video calls. The softphone platform was developed by Secret Phone Inc. in 2009, headquartered in Santa Clara, California.
Features
The application enables text messaging on all mobile devices: individual and group video calls, voice calls, messaging and more for users to communicate and chat in HD Resolution quality.[3] The app works with crowded Wi-Fi and 2G network, and adapts to the internet to make uninterrupted video and voice calls. Zangi technology allows users to recover lost voice and video data.
Zangi's recent update in July 2018 added features such as automated voice messages, editing contacts before sharing, forwarding messages to multiple contacts and group chats, custom chat backgrounds, location sending and viewing experience, animated GIFs, clear voice calls, new original-made stickers, orientation for left-handed users, replying to messages in line, deleting messages for both sides or for one side, and more. [4]
Data Usage
On slow and expensive network connections, Zangi delivers more talk time per megabyte of bandwidth.[5] Zangi uses its Streaming Control Protocol (SCP) innovation, a protocol that reduces bandwidth consumption independent from audio quality. The low data consumption is used mainly for roaming for local or international travel. Up to 7-minute video and voice calls can be made with 1MB of bandwidth. [6]
Scalability
Zangi is built on a highly-scalable infrastructure, which supports millions of users at a time. It has an integrable backend with a running infrastructure and a lightweight engine with its own signaling and streaming protocols. [7]
Security
Zangi Messenger is an anonymous messaging app [8] with a security protocol, built to not store user data on central servers, doesn't save user communication history,[3] and is encrypted with RSA-2048 and RC4+ algorithms. Sent messages, phone calls, photos and videos are not registered on the server, they are only saved on the device of the sender and receiver. The third party, Zangi, acts as a mediator, serving as a “pipe” through which the user’s message is sent to another party.[9]
The messenger's decentralized system, which means a system where data is not stored on the cloud, is built so that users’ personal data or communication history never reach third parties. If a user deletes a message, nobody, not even Zangi, can restore the message. [5]
Business model
Since 2016, the company has entered a new stage of development, contracting Business-To-Business (B2B) partners from different countries. [10] Zangi Solutions thereafter has become a scalable telecommunications infrastructure for the B2B market, which mainly offers messaging solutions.[7] Clients can create and take control of their decentralized communication network and business data, because the network is hosted on the client's servers or clouds. [11]
Since August 8, 2018, according to an article published by Reuters, Zangi solutions included the capacity to implement a digital wallet payment system for business clients. [12]
