Zaw Gyi was born 13 May 1997 in Ma-ubin, Ayeyarwady Region, Myanmar. He is the youngest son of five siblings. He studied distance Geology in

Zaw gyi started his music career as a contestant in Season 3 Myanmar Idol, a televised singing competition. He is Pantene Wild card winner, 2nd runner-up and top 3. Myanmar Idol Top 3 Finalists are Phyo Myat Aung, ChanMyae MgCho and Zaw Gyi.
