Zell Education is an Indian edtech company headquartered in Mumbai. Established in 2015, the company provides training for international finance and accounting certifications, including ACCA, CFA, and CMA.
History
Zell Education was founded in 2015 by Pratham Barot and Anant Bengani.[1] Initially operated as a training center for professional accounting, the company later adopted online and hybrid delivery formats through a proprietary learning management system.[2][3]
The company expanded its curriculum in June 2023 by launching a Financial Risk Manager (FRM) program, which provides preparatory training for examinations conducted by the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP).[4] In January 2024, the company announced the Global Career Championship, a scholarship programme under which selected students were eligible for fee waivers for finance and accounting qualifications.[5] In August 2025, the company signed a memorandum of understanding with the Indian Institute of Management Mumbai to collaborate on the development of a postgraduate diploma in international accounting and finance.[6]
Academic partnerships
Between 2021 and 2025, Zell Education entered into collaborations with universities to integrate professional certification training into academic degree programs.[7] In August 2025, it signed an agreement with the Indian Institute of Management Mumbai to provide a postgraduate diploma in international accounting and finance.[8] The company has also partnered with private universities including Bennett University,[9] BML Munjal University,[10] MIT World Peace University, and Chitkara University, to offer integrated B.Com and BBA programs.[11][12][13][14]
