History

StudyIQ was founded in 2015 as a YouTube channel by Gaurav Garg..[2], an educator from India. The channel initially focused on providing free educational content for various competitive examinations, including the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Examination and State Public Service Commissions (PCS). Garg's engaging teaching method and comprehensive coverage of topics led to rapid growth, with the channel reaching over 1 million subscribers by 2018 [3]

In 2018,collaborated with Abhishek Jain[4] and Mohit Jindal [5] to expand StudyIQ's offerings. Abhishek Jain, serving as Co-Founder, played a pivotal role in strategic planning and business development. Mohit Jindal, an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, also joined as a Co-Founder, bringing his technical expertise to enhance the platform's technological infrastructure.

Under this leadership team, StudyIQ launched an online platform providing paid courses for various competitive exams. These courses were designed to be affordable and accessible, catering to students from diverse backgrounds across India. The platform's success was bolstered by its commitment to quality education and the increasing demand for online learning resources.

By 2020, StudyIQ had diversified its course offerings to include preparation materials for exams such as the Staff Selection Commission (SSC), Banking, and Railways, solidifying its position as a comprehensive edtech platform for government job aspirants.

In December 2021, StudyIQ was acquired by Adda247[6][7], a leading edtech firm focused on government job preparation, in a cash and stock deal valued at approximately ₹150 crore[8] (around $20 million).
