Zhihao Jia is an assistant professor of computer science at Carnegie Mellon University. He works on computer systems for machine learning and quantum computing as part of CMU Catalyst Group.[1] and Parallel Data Lab [2]
Early life and education[edit]
Zhihao Jia received his Ph.D. from Stanford University, where he worked with Alex Aiken and Matei Zaharia. Before that, he received his bachelor’s degree from the Special Pilot CS Class supervised by Andrew Yao at Tsinghua University.[3]
Recognition[edit]
In 2022, he was awarded Meta Research Award, Qualcomm Innovation Fellowship, Amazon Research Award, Google Faculty Research Award.
