Zineta Blank

Zineta Blank is a former model and founder/ owner of the modeling agency Visage International Management GmbH. She is managing Andreja Pejic, Carmen Dell’Oreffice, Niki Taylor, Jerry Hall, Emma Hemming, Maryam d’Abo, Angela Martini and Kevin Sorbo. Zineta also represented Chanel Iman, Taylor Hill, Heidi Klum, Claudia Schiffer and Mila Jovovich. She hosted the Ford Supermodel of Switzerland Contest for 8 years.[1]

Zineta Blank was born in Sisak, Croatia. With 18 years old she moved to Zagreb, where she studied at the University of Textil Technology Zagreb and parallel to that she was studying at the University of Graphic Art Zagreb. During a basketball training at the University she got discovered as a model by choreograph Josip Curik and later by the model agency director Regina Jäger of the agency UMAH. She modeled for various brands in Italy, England, France, Germany and Switzerland to finance her studies.

Zineta moved to Zurich and opened her own fashion store. In 1995 she founded her own modeling agency called Visage Management and since 2014 she has her own lucky charms line.[2]

She discovered and established models like Noah Luis Brown, Ana Viktoria Dzinic, Laurin Krausz, Rebekka Martic, Sany Liriano, Anouk and Noemi Manser or Catherine Loewe. Together with Paul Fisher she created the careers of models like Marjan Jonkman, Meghan Wiggins, Julie Hoomans and Agnes Abma Nieske for clients like: Louis Vuitton, Balenciaga, Yves Saint Laurent, Armani, Marc Jacobs, Moschino, Prada, Versace, Bottega Veneta, Guess, Vivianne Westwood and editorials for magazines like Vogue, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, i-D, L’Official or Interview Magazine.

Eileen Ford founder of Ford Models was Zineta’s role model and mentor, they became friends for many years. Due to the good relationship with Eileen, Zineta took the license of the Ford Super Model Contest and hosted it for 8 years in Switzerland.[3]

In 2003 she started to promote and always supported model diversity in gender, shape,[4] age[5] and color, which made her known as a visionary and trendsetter. According to the renowned economy magazine BILANZ, Zineta and her agency is one of the most influential business idea.[6]
