Zoya Humaimi is a fictional Pakistani spy (ISI agent) appearing in the YRF Spy Universe, an Indian cinematic universe.[1][2][3] She is portrayed by Katrina Kaif. The character first appeared in Ek Tha Tiger (2012), as an undercover ISI agent living in Dublin, Ireland. Following the events of Ek Tha Tiger, she appeared again in the sequel, Tiger Zinda Hai (2017), as the wife of Tiger; she will also appear again in Tiger 3 (2023) and Tiger vs. Pathaan (2025).[4][5]
Zoya was born in 1985. She is disconnected from the ISI, as she had eloped with her love interest turned husband, Tiger, who was an Indian spy (R&AW agent). However, she remains loyal to Pakistan and returns occasionally to save her country from threats.[6][7]
She is married to Tiger and has two kids, Hassan (adopted) and Junior, 17 and 11 years old in 2022, respectively. She is also a friend of Rubina Mohsin, another fictional Pakistani spy in the YRF Spy Universe, portrayed by Deepika Padukone.[8] Over the years, Kaif's portrayal of Zoya has gained a dedicated fanbase.[9][10]
