Zupee (Ludo) is an online multiplayer gaming app [2][3][4] where users can play against other users for entertainment.[5][6][7][8] As per The Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Bill, 2025, cash games and contests have been discontinued on Zupee.

Zupee was founded in 2018 by Dilsher Singh Malhi and Siddhant Saurabh [11] under Cashgrail Private Ltd.[12]
AIGF has certified Zupee’s games as skill-based and fair.[13]
Zupee is backed by investors such as WestCap Group, Tomales Bay Capital, Nepean Capital, AJ Capital, Matrix Partners India, and Orios Venture Partners.[14]
In 2021, Zupee introduced a skilling academy and partnered with NIIT Foundation to offer vocational skills programs.[15]
Format
Zupee was one of the first platforms in India to adapt traditional games such as Ludo and Snakes & Ladders into digital, skill-based formats.[16]
Zupee offers ludo in four formats: Ludo Supreme, Ludo Supreme League, Ludo Turbo, Trump Cards Mania.[10]
Gameplay
Zupee’s gameplay differs from traditional Ludo by focusing on scoring-based mechanics and time-bound matches rather than requiring players to move all tokens to the home area. Players earn points based on token movement, strategic decisions, and in-game actions, with the highest-scoring player declared the winner at the end of a match. The platform Ludo app [17] for andriod and iOS Ludo offers multiple gameplay formats with varying durations: Super Quick mode - 2.5 minutes per match Quick mode - 7 minutes per match Regular mode - 8 minutes per match These formats are designed to enable shorter and more structured gameplay sessions, catering to mobile-first users seeking fast-paced experiences. Zupee also includes multiplayer functionality that allows users to play with friends and family through private matches, as well as participate in games with a wider player base across India and other regions in Asia. Unlike traditional Ludo, which relies heavily on chance through dice rolls, Zupee’s formats are structured to incorporate elements of skill, strategy, and decision-making.
