On 15 July 2016, Low Cost Holidays collapsed and the brand was subsequently acquired by loveholidays.[3]
In January 2017, following the collapse of the airline Monarch, loveholidays acquired the brand in an undisclosed deal.
In 2017, private equity investor Livingbridge acquired a majority stake in the company for £180 million.[4]
