The École nationale supérieure d'architecture de Paris-Val de Seine was founded in 2001 from the merge and reorganization of 4 pre-existing schools. The school is then located on several sites. In 2007, the École nationale supérieure d'architecture de Paris-Val de Seine finally settled on a single site, in the new district of national library of France (BNF) in a building designed by architect Frédéric Borel, winner of the French National Grand Prize in Architecture in 2010.
