Ÿ.exe
The ÿ.exe trojan is a virus in the form of a malware made for Windows Operating Systems.
Ÿ.exe was first showcased by the Youtube channel Banement[1], and later covered by the Youtube channel Siam Alam.[2]
Payload[edit]
Once ÿ.exe is run, a textbox filled with random letters and symbols will pop up. Soon thereafter, sounds resembling windows error messages, and extremely loud noises resembling hooking up to a modem will play, while the screen flashes at the same time. Shortly, the screen will blue screen and then the screen will say, "YOU DUCKED UP! Sadly, your computer data and hardware got corrupted... But you can still salvage this. You just have to win a round of DOSert Bus. WARNING: DO NOT TURN OFF YOUR COMPUTER OR IT WILL BE LOST FOREVER! Press the spacebar to continue." After a person presses the space bar, they will be shown the controls, then the person will have to sit and drive a bus in real-time from Tuscon, Arizona, to Las Vegas, Nevada[3], but in a top-down position. If the bus veers to the right too much, there will be beeping until the bus veers completely off the road. After this, the screen will show, "Game Over. This computer is now destroyed. The last thing it will display is this message".
