Architecture[edit]

180 Strand, once part of the old Arundel Great Court, sits between Somerset House and the Inner Temple. Built from 1971 to 1976 by Frederick Gibberd (1908-1984), this brutalist building makes a statement in the heart of the Strand. While it used to be a multi-use office spot, it's now a buzzing hub for art and fashion—and it’s gearing up for a big transformation with upcoming redevelopment plans.

The south end of Arundel Great Court site was demolished in 2014 and the new build was completed in 2023.
