1st Health Battalion

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

The 1st Health Battalion is a unit of the 2nd Health Brigade of the Australian Army. It is headquartered at Robertson Barracks in Darwin, but has a sub unit being the 7th Health Support Company (7HSC) based in Perth. The unit can trace its lineage back to the 1st Field Ambulance which was raised in 1915 in Egypt before the Gallipoli Campaign. Since then it has changed names multiple times, most recently known as the 1st Close Health Battalion which disbanded in December 2021 due to the Army Health restructure.[1][2]
