Template:Infobox NCRHA National Championships The 2015 National Collegiate Roller Hockey Championships – Division I is the national championship tournament for college roller hockey in the United States in 2015. The tournament involves 24 teams in round robin pool play followed by an elimination bracket to determine the national champion at the Division I level of the National Collegiate Roller Hockey Association (NCRHA), the highest level of competition in college roller hockey. The tournament was hosted by the Great Plains Collegiate Inline Hockey League (GPCIHL) at the Independence Events Center in Independence, Missouri.[1][2]
In a rematch of the 2014 championship game, Neumann defeated defending champions Lindenwood 4–3 in the championship game to win the program's first NCRHA Division I title.
Tournament procedure[edit]
The tournament will consist of six pools of four teams in a round robin pool play, followed by an elimination bracket.
- April 8–11
- Independence Events Center – Independence, Missouri (Host: Great Plains Collegiate Inline Hockey League)
- Mission Rink (Main Events Center Arena)
- Bauer Rink (Centerpoint Community Ice)
Qualifying teams[edit]
The at-large bids and alternate bids for each team in the tournament were announced on Selection Monday, March 9.[3] The Eastern Collegiate Roller Hockey Association (ECRHA) Great Plains Collegiate Inline Hockey League (GPCIHL) each had five teams receive a berth in the tournament, the Midwest Collegiate Roller Hockey League (MCRHL), Southeastern Collegiate Roller Hockey League (SECRHL) and Western Collegiate Roller Hockey League (WCRHL) each had four teams receive a berth, and one team from the Rocky Mountain Collegiate Roller Hockey Association (RMCRHA) and Southwest Collegiate Hockey League (SCHL) received a berth.
The National Championship pools for the round robin were announced on March 20.[4]
