On Friday, December 29, 2017, a gunman stormed into a law firm in Long Beach, California and killed one employee, and injured another. The gunman, John Mendoza, a lawyer at the firm, killed himself.
Mayor Robert Garcia tweeted that the third person who was shot in a law office Friday is hospitalised in stable condition. He says the shooter and a victim are dead in what appears to be a workplace killing.[2]
