Azusa shooting
A shooting occurred in Azusa, California on November 8, 2016. It reportedly took place nearing a polling station for the United States elections, 2016 and at least one person died and three others were injured.[1] The shooter allegedly fired over 19 rounds at police and officers returned fire.[2] Later investigated indicated the shooter was on drugs.[3]
Victims[edit]
Francis Varney, 70, was the only fatality aside from the shooter.[4] Two women were also injured, including Elidia Dominguez, 65.[5]
Aftermath[edit]
Two polling stations and a middle school were put on lockdown after the shooting.[1]
