The 2018–19 season was Jwaneng Galaxy's 4th consecutive in the Botswana Premier League, the top division in Botswana football. The club competed in the Botswana Premier League, Mascom Top 8 Cup and Botswana FA Cup.
It was the first season under Portuguese manager Miguel da Costa, who was appointed following the departure of Serbian Zlatko Krmpotic.[1] The club won the Mascom Top 8 Cup for the second time, tying Gaborone United and Township Rollers as the most successful club in the competition.[2]

Mascom Top 8 Cup[edit]
Having finished the 2016-17 Botswana Premier League season, Rollers kicked off their Mascom Top 8 campaign against seventh-placed Sharps Shooting Stars. A 2-0 victory in the first leg followed by a 1-0 home win saw them glide into the semifinals, where they were drawn against BDF XI. The two teams drew 3-3 on aggregate, enabling Rollers to progress on away goals and lift the cup by defeating Orapa United in the final.
