The 2019 Junior Kabaddi World Cup was the first edition of the Junior Kabaddi World Cup. It was organised by the International Kabaddi Federation and contested from 11 to 15 November 2019 in Kish Island, Iran. Thirteen countries competed in the tournament.[1]
Iran won the 1st World Cup by defeating Kenya 42–22 in the final.
Participating Countries[edit]
14 Countries were expected to participate but only 13 countries were able to participate. Team India did not participated as they were unable to name a squad on time. Uganda were replaced by Azerbaijan in the last moment, owing to the former's visa issues denting their chances of traveling to Iran. The following countries participated:-
