Local elections were held in San Miguel, Bulacan on May 9, 2022 within the Philippine general election. The voters will elect candidates for the elective local posts in the municipality: the mayor, vice mayor, and eight councilors.

Incumbent Mayor Roderick DG. Tiongson is seeking reelection for his 5th term as Municipal Mayor against his last election opponent Jiboy Cabochan which running under Aksyon Demokratiko and former mayor Edmundo Jose "Pop" Buencamino who is the seating Mayor during his first term as Vice Mayor in 2004.
