The "3-N-G Gang," 3rd and Galvez is one of New Orleans most notoriously dangerous and violent street gangs operating in the Central City neighborhood of New Orleans. They are well known for their murderous reputation in the streets and violent acts towards other gangs including the Young Melph Made Mafia. The gang originated around 3rd and Galvez street near the Calliope Projects in the early 2000s, and is an alliance of the 39ers gang. After Hurricane Katrina the gang become more violent and took over the drug trade of New Orleans streets.[1] Hit-man Washington “Big Wash” McCaskill, 38, a gunman for the 3NG gang who has admitted to a role in at least eight killings, received the sentence in exchange for his cooperation with prosecutors. He currently faces faced life in prison.
