The 36th Awit Awards are an upcoming music awards ceremony, presented by the Philippine Association of the Record Industry, honoring Filipino music released in 2022. The ceremony will be held on November 9, 2023 at the Baked Studios in Makati, hosted by Filipino social media personality Sassa Gurl.[1][2]

For the 2023 ceremony, new categories have been added including Best Global Collaboration, Best Rock/Metal Recording, Best Musical Recording, Best Recording by a Child or for Children, Best Remix Recording, Best Dance/Electronic Recording, Best Original Soundtrack Recording, and an Awit Lifetime Achievement Award.[3][4]

The nominations for the fan-voted categories, deemed as People's Voice, were announced on September 22, 2023. The rest of the nominations were announced on October 3, 2023.[1] Songwriter-producer Jonathan Manalo led the nominations with twenty-two, the fifth time that he became the most nominated artist in the annual ceremony.[5][6]
