50/50Innertainment is an independent record label which was founded in 2008 in Denver, Colorado. Specializing in signing and releasing primarily Hip Hop/Rap/R&B as well as also providing concerts, event planning, and artist development to aspiring musicians.[1] The label is owned and operated by two artist, Stryker & MFT.[2][3] The label is run independently under the name of their group, Stryker & MFT.[2][4] They've released 2 albums, 1 mixtape and a 3rd album is under production.[5][3] A careful distinction to make is not to confuse the name of 50/50 Innertainment[6] with 50/50 Entertainment, which isn't a record label or affiliated with them in anyway.[1][4][7][8][3]
History[edit]
The label is most well known for its significant role in reuniting part of Academy Award winners Three 6 Mafia in order to perform at an event, by booking and flying each of them to Colorado.[1][8] Three 6 Mafia was broken up at the time but soon reunited after the event. Three 6 Mafia eventually went on tour mostly due to that appearance. The label has had a number of popular releases[5] featuring artists such as "Oj Da Juiceman" of Bricksquad,[3][6] Project Pat,[6] Lucky Luciano, Do or Die[3][6] Filero, Johny P, LiL Flip and more first to Colorado which opened up doors for many promoters across the state.[1][8] They've also booked popular acts as Do or Die, Oj Da Juiceman, Project Pat, Johny P, Lucky Luciano and brought them out to Colorado for their first time.[4] They have also performed for and booked other musicians such as LiL Scrappy, Youngbuck,2 Pac's Outlawz, Paul Wall, E40,2 Chainz and more.[1][4][6][7][8]
The labels release album, Say goodnight to the bad guy, is due for distribution sometime 2017 and features artists such as Lord Infamous & Koopsta Knicca of Three 6 Mafia and more.[1][4][8][3][2][5]
