Gold Star Music was a record label founded by Hector "El Father" and Javier "Cholo" Gomez. Gold Star Music is sometimes referred to as Gold Star La Familia, because of the tight cooperation of Roc-La-Familia. Since the creation of this company, it became the most powerful company of reggaeton until its demise in 2009.
