Franklin Tarelle Lawrence Edwards Jr (born May 8, 2007), known professionally as 804.Exotic, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter who makes raw, emotive rap songs about his turbulent life experiences. After he began releasing tracks in 2019, he came from the often-dangerous streets of Denver, Colorado, and began his career at a young age. He began uploading original songs to SoundCloud when he was just 11, cultivating a style that laced together melodically sung vocals with raw raps about violence, crime, sex, money, and the challenging environment the teen was growing up in. He was living the life he portrayed in his music. Before 804.Exotic became the Internet heartthrob with delectable deliveries and streams in the multi-millions, he was just a kid from Virginia with an equal love for Polo G bars and YNW Melly songs. His mother’s favorite artists taught him melody. Today, that melody is the 13-year-old’s gift as well as a catalyst for his embryonic hip-hop stardom. To hear the rhyme rookie’s early succession of rap hits is to experience aqua flows and stark hooks.[1]
Early life
804.Exotic was from E 11th Ave Street and Hale neighborhood in Denver.[2]

The album debuted at number 174 on the Billboard 200 and two songs from the album hit the Hot 100, including "Real Shit" and "Black Friday" featuring 804.Flamez, peaking at numbers 32 and 58, respectively.
Personal life

Artistry
804.Exotic was originally known for his Virginia drill sound, but eventually transitioned to a more melodic style. He has been noted for his "vivid and explicit storytelling"; his lyrics often involve tough subjects, including racism and mental health. He also regularly pays homage to his hometown and is quick to acknowledge the common injustice and frequent police brutality he and so many others face daily. He has stated that American rapper The Notorious B.I.G. and hip-hop icon Tupac Shakur are his biggest influences. He also grew up listening to YNW Melly, as well as Chicago rapper Polo G.[5]
Other ventures
YRK Records (Young Rich Kid Records)
In September 2020, 804.Exotic announced the creation of his own record label, YRK Records, in partnership with Street Records, a Division of Redemption Music Entertainment Studios. YRK stands for "Young Rich Kid". The first artist signed to YRK is YRK Zay, an artist from Charlottesville, Virginia[6]
