Career

Jamell Demons was born on May 1, 1999, in Gifford, Florida. He started posting his songs on SoundCloud when he was 15. He was imprisoned for a time in 2017 on weapons charges for a shooting he was involved with when aged 16. After being discharged from prison, he released singles, videos, and other ventures, including tracks such as "Murder on My Mind", "Catching Feelings", and the Collect Call EP. Collect Call featured numerous well-known artists, including Lil B and John Wicks. In 2018, he released the singles "Melly the Menace", "Virtual", and "Slang That Iron" .[4] He is also married to Shay. In September 2018, Melly was September’s hottest new creator, beating New Yorker King Princess and Australia’s Fisher to the top spot of the Radar Station’s monthly chart.[5]
