The ADK-45 is a new assault rifle being tested in Russia.[citation needed] It was first shown in the Moscow Military Exhibits in early 2010 and late 2009. According to some military analysts[who?], it is produced by Izhmash with workers from Degtyaryov Machine Plant, and headed by Youriy K. Aleksandrov, the designer of AK-108 Assault Rifle. Nothing more is said about this weapon. It is in preliminary weapons testing and evaluation. It said to be the future weapon of Spetsnazes.[citation needed]
