Ajai Vasudev[1] is an Indian film director who works in Malayalam cinema. He started his career as assistant director in Kalyanaraman. Ajai has worked as an assistant director in more than 26 films till date and became an independent director with the Mammootty starrer film Rajadhiraja[2]
Biography[edit]
In 2002, Ajai Vasudev entered the Malayalam Film industry as an assistant direction in the film Kalyanaraman. After Kalyanaraman he has been part of many films as assistant and associate director. Ajai has worked in more than 26 films till date. In the year 2014 Ajai became an independent director with the film Rajadhiraja[3] The film starred Mammootty and Raai Laxmi in the lead and the script for the film was written by the duo of Udayakrishna-Siby K. Thomas. Ajai is now currently in the work of his next film which will be based on the script by Udhayakrishna and the film which is set in the backdrop of a college campus will have Mammootty playing the lead character.[4]
