AJ Myers

AJ Myers is an American poker player. He is a two-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner.

Career[edit]

In mid-May 1980, Myers and Lynn Harvey won the Mixed Doubles of the World Series of Poker (WSOP), played in the No Limit Hold'em variant, at Binion's Horseshoe in Las Vegas. For this, they each received a bracelet and a shared prize of almost US$15,000.[1] The following year, the American was victorious again and won an event in Limit Seven Card Stud at the 1981 WSOP with a top prize of $67,500, which earned him his second bracelet.[2] At the 1982 WSOP, he reached the final table in the main event and finished in fifth place, worth $52,000.[3] After his second place in the Mixed Doubles at the WSOP in 1983, which he achieved together with Cheryl Davis,[4] he achieved his last money placement to date with eighth place at the Stairway to the Stars in Las Vegas in 1986.[5]
