AKS Clothing is an Indian fashion brand that designs, manufactures, distributes and retails affordable Indian traditional wears and Indo-western apparel for women. The company is located in Gurugram, India, with manufacturing units at Jaipur. It was founded by Nidhi Satpal Yadav in 2006. The brand is one of the top wholesale suppliers of women's ready-made designer clothing in India.
AKS is known for its modish flare of floral, animal and abstract printed outfits for women of all ages, including kurtis, sarees, lehenga, maxi, palazzos, tunics, trousers, jumpsuits, dupattas and clothing sets.
AKS Couture is a brand extension that offers high-end custom-fitted clothing, crafted for individual customers.
AKS is one of the fastest-selling brands on India's famous eCommerce marketplaces, such as AjioLife, TataCliq, Flipkart and Myntra.

History:
Nidhi Yadav quit her job in India's top consulting firm, Deloitte to pursue her lasting dream of working in the fashion industry. Nidhi enrolled and acquired her degree in Fashion, Buying and Merchandising from the Palimoda Fashion School in Florence, Italy. She then returned to India after graduation, despite securing a job in Emilio Pucci, the Italian Fashion Brand.
After having worked with a local fashion store in Gurugram, Haryana for three months, Nidhi relocated to her hometown, got married, and had a baby. Her husband was working with Jabong, a famous Indian fashion marketplace.
Post marriage, she began to research ZARA, an international fashion brand and learned about Indian fabrics, fashion culture, quality, design, travelling conditions and supply chain.
In May 2014, at the age of 25, along with her husband, Satpal Yadav, AKS Clothing was founded with a seed capital of INR 3.5 lakh, a small warehouse and an idea of creating a brand that offered new collections of styles every two weeks to uptick sales.
At present, the brand creates and launches 150 styles every month and experiences a customer repeat rate of 35-40% per month.
Once sold out, AKS does not repeat the same styles and designs.
In 2016, the company integrated a network of printing, dyeing, stitching and manufacturing units in Jaipur, with 25 percent of its warehousing in Delhi.
In 2019, AKS crossed INR 100 crore in revenue without any external funding. It also opened 20 stores pan India and 2 offline stores in Nagaland.
At present, AKS is associated with over 300 tailors across India. Its headquarters is a five-story commercial building in Gurugram, India, run by 60% women hailing from different parts of India.
