ARIatHOME, known stylistically as ari@home, is an American partnered Twitch streamer, improv performer, rapper, songwriter, producer with more than 63,000 followers on Twitch. He is known from appearances on AustinShow's Talent Show, AustinShow's Love or Host, The Streamer Awards, as well as appearing on various Twitch streams where he uses instruments with his RC-505 looper to create interactive music within minutes.

Early Life[edit]

Ari grew up in Albany, New York, while in high school he worked on several music projects for his classes including several that he shot music videos for.

Career[edit]

ARIatHOME started his career on Twitch on November 4th, 2020 after stints streaming on Reddit, Facebook and YouTube. He is known for his songs parodying popular Twitch Streamer Hasanabi, also music that parodies current events, memes, Twitch metas, and creating music that is more personal.

AustinShow's Talent Show[edit]

In 2021 ARIatHOME entered a talent show hosted by Twitch personality AustinShow hoping to gain some recognition for his ability to improv music from scratch. The judges on the panel for the introductory round were Mizkif, Emiru, Tubbo, and MoistCrit1kal[1].

The judges used their golden buzzers on previous contestants which put Ari at a disadvantage, but the audience watching loved the song he created "Follow for a Follow" and helped push him into the finals when voting concluded.

His follow up performance on November 18th, 2021 for the finals was in front of judges: QTCinderella, Ludwig, Fuslie, and Malena. He created a song asking for the two judges QTCinderella and Ludwig to adopt him, which judge Fuslie found intriguing enough to award Ari with her golden buzzer. In the end Ari came in second for the talent show and was awarded $10,000.

AustinShow's Love or Host[edit]

Thanks to his performances in the talent show, AustinShow invited Ari to open up for one of his episodes of Love or Host, a Twitch dating show. Ari accepted the offer and opened for the episode in which Mia Malkova was the contestant. He went on to perform three songs: "Wake Up Next to Crazy Slick", "Love or Host Theme Song", and "Stepbro".

The Streamer Awards[edit]

Due to the popularity he gained on the AustinShow's Talent Show, former judge QTCinderella asked Ari to perform at the first ever The Streamer Awards show, which she was creating. Ari opened the stream with a song asking the audience to subscribe with their Twitch Prime at the request of QTCinderella. The song marked Ari's second ever live performance. The song has gone on to become one of Ari's most popular on YouTube. In addition to opening the show, ARIatHOME was nominated in the Best Music Streamer Category. He expected to get blown away by rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer T-Pain, the winner ended up being LilyPichu[2].

While in Los Angeles, California for the show ARIatHOME was also able to join TheSushiDragon for an IRL (In Real Life) Stream and later on in his trip he was able to do a live stream from the 100 Thieves Cash App Compound.

Before making the trip from New York City to Los Angeles, ARIatHOME had stated that he had only ever had bad experiences visiting the Golden State. However, upon return he showed enthusiasm from his trip and expressed interest in one day returning for an extended period of time to collaborate with more artists and streamers as the availability in New York City is limited.

Live at ReBar in Las Vegas, Nevada[edit]

After performing at The Streamer Awards, ARIatHOME's next performance was in Las Vegas, Nevada at the ReBar near downtown. Ari did a simultaneously live performance and stream to Twitch in front of a crowd on April 1st, 2022.

Girls Trip[edit]

Because of QT's prior relationship working with ARIatHOME, she asked him to create a fun song for her follow up project to The Streamer Awards. ARIatHOME professionally crafted a theme song titled with the same name as the event in front of his Twitch audience, a change of pace from his usual improv music streams. He showed the process from start to finish of what it takes to produce a song, which eventually went on to open each stream for Girls Trip.

Streams[edit]

Solo Streams[edit]

Most streams that ARIatHOME performs on twitch are solo streams. Here he gets to express his creativity in the fullest. A typical solo stream starts off with a song with little input from the audience in chat, the next few songs consist of input from the chat whether they suggest outlandish topics like Rollerskating in Target or Twitch current events such as when Twitch partner Hasanabi was banned from the platform temporarily. Often times there are a few songs where he freestyle raps by asking people in the chat to submit random words as he tries to stitch it together into coherence. The longer the stream the further away from this beginning formula it will veer. He will end up experimenting with instruments and sounds, sometimes even creating his own samples, the lyrics get deeper as well as the meaning of the songs.

Collab Streams[edit]

Thanks to the recognition ARIatHOME received from his prior performances, other streamers on Twitch became open to the idea of collaborating with him to create music. Notable guests he has had on stream are: TheSushiDragon, JustaMinx, Lacari, Quqco, STPeach, ExtraEmily, Yuggie_TV, CodeMiko, Simply.CM and others.

Charity Streams[edit]

Ari has attempted to use his music for several different causes since he started streaming including the Ukraine Crisis Fund and Reproductive rights. In both streams he has exceeded his charity goal. He has also contributed to several other streamer's causes in their charity streams.

Future[edit]

He has been working on a streaming kit that will allow him to perform out in public and improv music with random people at parks.
