AVASOFT provides information technology, business consulting and outsourcing solutions. The company has 450 professionals in 3 countries and the company serves 150 clients in 50 countries in 10 years presence in the industry. History

AVASOFT started its journey as a business and technology consulting and products Development Company, concentrating on .Net projects in the early 2009. After stepping into product development circle, AVASOFT conducted market research campaigns for identifying the future of .net based products and started building products.

The initial years of the company from 2009 to 2011 had 30 members as the workforce. In mid 2011, with the dedicated support of 80 employees, AVASOFT ventured into SharePoint and aimed at the Microsoft technology products domain and started building SharePoint based business apps. It helped the company to reap a revenue of $3million with which they earmarked the money for debt payments and upgraded company offices.

Radhakrishnan RAV, CEO, AVASOFT has decided to reduce the company’s dependencies with the aim of turning it into a self-owned organization, an idea, which he has named “Generate”. This would make the work much easier by automating routine affairs and would allow the employees to spend more time for learning new things.

In 2015, AVASOFT set its footprint in IBM enterprise integration practice apart from focusing on SharePoint based applications. By the end of 2015, the company had a revenue of $7 million and zero debt. In the same year AVSOFT was successful in expanding its growth 2015 by taking on the IT infrastructure maintenance projects, which the bigger giants of the domain did not take up.

By 2016 AVASOFT was actively present in most of the IT domains like .Net, Java, SharePoint, IBM, Business Intelligence and IoT. Till date the company has worked into various technologies based on Business Intelligence like QlikView, Qlik Sense, tableau and Microsoft’s Power BI.

AVASOFT now is a $10 million company in the evolving IT sector. It has set its watchful eyes on the future technologies of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Augmented Reality, Mixed Reality, and Virtual Reality. The mantra of AVASOFT is to prove, number is certainly not the recipe to be a world class company.

Leadership

Radhakrishnan RAV, a former senior client account head at Virtusa and now managing offshore development and operations at AVASOFT. His last 21 + years career includes Virtusa, Hexaware and CG Maersk. He has worked in various capacities and is presently the CEO for AVASOFT, Asia.
